The Glomex weBBoat devices are integrated systems that facilitate coastal internet access through 4G/3G/Wi-Fi technology, offering users the ability to surf the web while at sea or in areas with marginal signal on land. These devices effectively receive 4G signals and create a secure hotspot for use on boats and motorhomes.
One of the standout features of the weBBoat devices is their built-in advanced switching software, which helps users minimize expenses by automatically switching to available Wi-Fi networks—such as those found in marinas or campsites—thus reducing roaming and overage charges.
Additionally, these devices are designed for ease of use; they are essentially plug and play, requiring minimal setup and utilizing only a single 10/30Vdc power lead for the antenna. The comprehensive management of all weBBoat functions is facilitated through this user-friendly app. Enhanced capabilities of the latest weBBoat models include automatic APN handling, SMS management for monitoring internet usage, an auto-switching mode compatible with onboard satellite Internet devices/V-SAT, and an encrypted real-time peer-to-peer connection for remote setup and service management.
